  • Is professional organizing expensive?
Disorganization, clutter, and chaos is way more expensive than what you'll spend to clear it out and add organization. Disorganization costs you physically and financially through duplicate purchases, things expiring, loss of time looking for items, and stressing about the mess. It could be causing you late fees, damages/repairs to your homes and vehicles. I think the biggest cost is the toll it takes is on your peace, relationships, time, energy, hobbies, and goals. What do you think your current level of disorganization is costing you each month? Check the "Professional Organizing" page to see a full list of current services included with the professional organizing, find pricing / fees on that page too. Our "PO" clients also receive our trade discounts on organizing products.
  • How does professional organizing work?
First ~ We start with a chat by phone, text. or by email. (Give us a call or use the online scheduling link near the bottom of each webpage.) If at all possible text images and a video of your space(s) prior to our phone consult. During the consult we'll listen to what you share about your project and we'll ask questions to best understand your needs and goals for the space(s). Before the call concludes, I'll confirm the additional All-Inclusive Service details & Pricing. At that time you can an schedule an additional schedule (in-person this time) at a fee or proceed with signing agreement/making payment/schedule organizing sessions. We're here to help you become organized and rid stress, not add more! Second ~ After the call you'll receive an email with links to the agreement and online payment. Any previously discussed dates for an in-person consultation or session dates will be held for 24 hr, allowing you time to sign the agreement and complete the online payment. If agreement or payment is not completed the tentative dates held will be released. Third ~ If having an in-person consult, I'll have the opportunity to see the project space in-person & further access how we can meet your needs and goals for the project. I may have additional questions for you concerning your space(s). You can ask additional questions. At the conclusion of the in-person consult: you can opt to sign the agreement, purchase organizing hours, and schedule the day(s) / time(s) for your project to be completed. If a work session, we'll get right to work sorting, decluttering, implementing systems in your space(s) and working towards your goals. Your space becomes organized, decluttered, styled, and will now be a relaxing and calming space! Items you're ready to part with, or items to be e-recycled, are taken away for you. Only thing left is to enjoy your space and mark that project off your to-do list!!
  • What if I'm nervous?
Reaching out to us, for some, may the biggest hurdle. You want to be more organized but are nervous about understanding the process or sharing your space with others. You have feelings of anxiety, vulnerability, self-consciousness, or shame. We do not judge you or your space(s). We are truly humbled that you invite us into your personal space and share such vulnerable parts of your life with us. We're patient, caring, sensitive to your needs, and excited to help implement more organization and help usher in more joy in the process! We want you to love your spaces and feel a peace in them!
  • Do I have to buy expensive containers?
No. We can utilize things you already have, or I can purchase new organization items for you, within your budget. There are a lot of great options for organizing and there are many affordable options too. It helps that we know what’s available and where best to purchase specific items. It’s also a once and kind of done thing. Once a system is set up, you won’t be continually investing into new organizational systems.
  • Do I have to get rid of everything?
Absolutely not! This process is about helping you sort through your stuff and in the process realize you own your stuff and it doesn’t own you! The process will help in making decisions of what you need, don’t need, and how this impacts your buying and organizing choices moving forward. We would never pressure of suggest to get rid of items that you use, love or need. We actually have a specific process for those that are struggling with…”What if I need this again?” thoughts.
